Investing In A Hair Transplant
Important Factor When Choosing The Procedure
Unfortunately, it’s not always easy to answer the question of how much a New Jersey FUE procedure will cost. Influencing factors include the location of the clinic and experience of the surgeon, the number of hairs/grafts being transferred, and the method used. Some clinics prefer to price their treatments by the area, by the hour, or by the graft.
Most commonly, the cost-per-graft model for FUE means that no patient will pay the exact same as another for their treatment, though you can get an idea from looking at photo examples of what a certain price point will get you.
Many hair transplant surgeons are agreeable to price out a flat fee for an agreed upon area, or, the patient can keep track of rising cost as they proceed and opt to end the session when a sufficient and satisfactory amount has been done. Per-session pricing can mean that a great deal of trust is required in the practitioner since any number of grafts may be placed when the time for the session is up. Your surgeon may draw a grid on the donor zone to extrapolate how much hair is in each square inch, then count how many grafts can be removed and transferred from each area based on a standard alghorithm.
